Nadia Aït-Saïd

Nadia Aït-Saïd was born in Gaspésie to an Algerian father and a Quebec mother. She divides her time between the Gaspé Sea, the metropolis of Montreal and many stays abroad. Nadia is interested in the theme of identity in relation to impermanence. She creates compositions, relief paintings, in addition to making installations and immersive staging. Performance and video combine with his working mediums to enrich this exploration. His work has been presented in various places: cultural centers, artist centers, galleries, museums and embassies in Canada, the United States, France, Belgium, Algeria and Japan. His works are part of private collections in Quebec and in Europe, as well as public collections, notably the Loto-Quebec Collection in Montreal.
