Son travail explore l\u2019identit\u00e9, les dynamiques de pouvoir et l\u2019expression transculturelle \u00e0 travers une perspective d\u00e9coloniale. Firmin d\u00e9veloppe une m\u00e9thode \u00ab Bossale \u00bb visant \u00e0 reprendre et \u00e0 r\u00e9inventer l\u2019imaginaire artistique.<\/p><p data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"849\" class=\"translation-block\">Alliant th\u00e9orie et pratique, il puise dans le <em data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"514\">Gwoka<\/em> \u2014 une forme d\u2019art afro-carib\u00e9enne traditionnelle combinant danse, musique et narration \u2014 ainsi que dans d\u2019autres traditions de r\u00e9sistance. Il a expos\u00e9 largement et collabor\u00e9 avec de grandes institutions, dont le Mus\u00e9e des beaux-arts de Montr\u00e9al. Il est \u00e9galement le deuxi\u00e8me artiste afro-descendant \u00e0 figurer dans la collection du Mus\u00e9e national des beaux-arts du
